Title: Moddifing PS graphically.
Post by: lukus on August 03, 2005, 12:59:08 pm
The engine is opensource, meaning we can use it and create our own game without PS\'s graphics.  I don\'t know what the rules are about modding the game files in use with the PS server, but whilst i\'m laying on my ass it would be cool to make an unoffical skin for the GUI of the game.

So, what file formats need to be used and how would you go about making them work?  searching in the folder it looks like it\'s basic .PNG images, i asume there is a script somewhere that locates where the button are etc.that i need to script??

I know in the set-up there was an option to select which skin i wanted to use, so i asume there is a way to pack it properly aswell?

thanks

EDIT: i think i may have found out... looking in the client base zip... however post if u know, it makes life easier
