ok so the Planeshift teams knows!
Since i did the update i have 3 servers!
Laanx
dev
mine
Laanx and mine are offline but dev isn\'t when i try to loggin to the server it say account wasn\'t found!
I never played this game before so that\'s why i\'m not sure!
Than when i run the updater tool it says the mirror to laanx server was broken!
If it\'s true that the last update broke some files how can i update the new files know?
just wanted to tell

I\'m not sure, I just tried to run the updater after hearing someone got in but was failed, because it couldnt mirror the server so, I guess we wait an be patient :O

At least you can get into a part of the game, I can\'t even open the game or updated because I have no mirrors...

We are in the middle of a large update and database wipe. Its not quite ready yet. You might have to reinstall and wait until there is a message on the main website giving the ok before running the updater again and getting ingame. It should be ready tomorrow or in the next few days, whenever the devs get it stable. Until then, uninstall and reinstall if you still have the exe file and keep an eye on the main site for the goahead.

Well you just started so its supposed to be huge, but they added a lot of new stuff and are probably working bugs out of the new stuff and servers as we speak, so I know it\'ll be up in a matter of hours...

I have no idea, just wait for a message on the main page to appear about the updater and junk before you do anything, else yer screwed

You shouldn\'t have access to the dev server, and \"mine\" probably reffers to someone\'s CVS build of a server... Someone FUBARed the update, and put in a crappy server list it seems... Don\'t update till they tell you to.

The power of the great wipe, you should get a PS2 and just play it until the updating is over, they are more then halfway done, and almost about 2 hours away from being done, its been 3 days, don\'t worry, its almost over

i\'ve already beat god of war, halo, halo 2, resident evil four, time splitters 2-3, dbz budoki one and two, alien hominid, and played like a hundred games of magic, and i\'m sick of waiting, oh well..... might as well go kill something on a crapy non-planeshift game

I think I figured out what happened here from another thread (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=18122&boardid=13)... It looks like Vengeance may have accidentally uploaded his own stuff... :P

Heh, I don\'t know anything technical, but does that mean that the GM just gave out a password to a Dev server the person accidently uploaded into the game for all to see? :P

There is no password showing on mine. I got the update and it now shows 2 additional servers. One is Mine and the other is dev. the dev is the only one that show that it is online but no password it looks the same as always there. I tried to log in with my account but it says it does not exist, most likely because it does not any more due to the wipe.

Or, they might have quickly realised they publitised (sp?) it and quickly deleted it from the public

Anyone who wants to can download and compile the CVS server, which in order to work has it\'s test accounts. The default is Vengeance with a password of \"keith\", which is mentioned in several places. Keith is someone\'s firstname if you couldn\'t tell ;)
The file was indeed uploaded by mistake, but that is being corrected. Just wait for an anouncement that it is time to update.

So when is the server gonna be online again? in houres?days?WEEKS?
