Title: Critical files not found
Post by: w?lf on August 04, 2005, 05:40:46 pm
Hi,
sorry if this is already posted/asked,
but i didn\'t find it via the \'search button\'.

So here goes:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
alucard@dD5E0087F:~/planeshift> ./updater --compare
Warning, can\'t find paths for win or mac or linux updater application! (Server only)
Critical files () not found (Server only)
NOTIFY: psUpdaterEngine initialized.
Downloading registry...
Loaded registry
Warning: Couldn\'t find module \'other_os\' in registry.
No changed files found
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If it is already solved, could you throw me the link?

Thanks

Hi I usually ignore that doesn\'t seem to make any difference :) but you still need to wait for v 0.3.011 to update

I ignored it too,
but when i started the client and wanted to connect
it said:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
\"you are not running the correct version for this server\"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and also this in the terminal when PS starts:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The file(/planeshift/items/white_meat01a.spr) doesn\'t have a meshfact node
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(happens with alot of files)

\"you are not running the correct version for this server\"

Well, you aren\'t. As stated above you have to wait until the 0.3.011 package is ready. The version you are using is 0.3.010.

The warning: \"Couldn\'t find module \'other_os\' in registry.\"  has nothing to do with it.

If you look at the top of the login screen it says version 0.3.010 thats because the linux version 0.3.011 has not been released yet, you\'ll just have to wait with the rest of us :) and update again

At first i thought there was something wrong with my pc (as usual) :D
