Title: Should I keep my character given these stats?
Post by: zanzibar on August 04, 2005, 10:52:09 pm
I came into the game with a new character as an elf with strength in the high 60\'s, agility in the mid 70\'s, endurance in the mid 80\'s, but my will was only 35.  Should I keep it?  Changing these stats is expensive once you get going.

It depends what you want to specialise in. Though, in reality, you wouldn\'t get a choice. Everything is trainable, and stats are half of what make your character unique in its own way.

(The other half, of course, is his personality. :) )

^ That, and the fact \'will\' is partialy, if not totaly based towards magic /spell casting of a perticular way/type... so if you want to be high on magic.. consider a change... but with that said i hear there arnt to many spell avliable yet anyway.

With higher will you can sustain less damage when you are wounded. The damage inflicted by a monster on you will increase logarithmic or exponentialy depending on the your current hitpoints. Will tend to normalise that effect. So in a small way will influences the combat system also.

I suspected something like that.
