Title: plz help im havin a problem with start up

well after rite after game loads screen goes black and i got a message sayin  
         
\"something unexpected happened in planeshift: crystal blue details: exception_access_violation at 5ed3e6b2 would you like to save a diagnostic file?\"    

if i put yes  i get a new message  sayin saved dump file to c:\\ ect...........

and den a final message sayin \"the instruction at \"0x06458263\" referenced memory at \"0x04f25000\". the memory could not be \"read\"

would ane1 plzzz tell me wats wrong and how 2 solve this????????

by the way im runnin windows

Please could you put a little more effort into writing your posts. It\'s quite difficult to understand with all the \'txt speek\' and lazy shortcuts. On a forum, you don\'t need to rush. Take your time, and show common courtesy to your fellow forum posters. Thanks.

As for your problem, try running pssetup.exe and disabling sound. Sound is a frequent cause of crashes.

This is a Game Crash......

I have neaver had it happen when i loaded the game but i have 2 Such Files so far of when the game crashed when playing and the same thing as Described above happened when it did Crash.

I don\'t know what i\'m suposta do with these 2 Files though and when i looked at them they are mostly encoded.

I have the same error and turning off the sound doesn\'t do anything

Have you run the updater lately, as in today?

I have ran the updater everday even though i can\'t play

Change your skin to stone and then launch planeshift..........seems to clear it up worked for me and a copuple others
