I was trying to dig for my first time a while ago, so I went to some place that I could dig for stuff and equipped my pickaxe on my right hand. When I tried to dig, it told me to equip the pickaxe on my right hand, which was already done. I switched the pickaxe to my left hand and I could start digging.
So, I\'m just wondering, why do I have to use my left hand to dig?

i think that is a bug... but im not completely sure

well what the heck does it matter for if you could dig anyway? i just dont see the logic behind your question, unless you just have some incredible need to use your right hand for everything. Whatever though.

Chill out. It\'s a valid question.
It\'s been asked in the past though. Since I\'m already making a post, I\'ll outline some of the issues so that the threadmaker doesn\'t ask other questions which have already been asked:
- finding ore has been said to be too hard
- the command should be /dig instead of /dig for XXX (it doesn\'t make sense to dig for gold then to throw out any platinum that you find by accidnet)
- right hand = left hand bug
- better mining tools
And so on. Just do a search....
