I\'ve spent the last little while testing out the character generator. I made a character that is a really really REALLY ugly fighter. His Charisma is level 3. Three. Single digits.
Now, I know you can die from loosing the Will to live, and some people just lack the Intelligence to prevent their own deaths. A charisma of level 3 though, what would that cause? I walk into a room and everyone starts to throw up?
-
With so little Charisma, I doubt anyone would sell you any necessities to live on.
But really, it\'s just beyond any of my imagination for a stat to have only level 3. Mind telling about your rest of stats? Are they like higher than average or just average?
-
If I make this Character, he will be an elf with:
Strength 83
Agility 85
Endurance 121
Intelligence 54
Will 37
Charisma 3
163 hit points, enough mana to test spells, and a decent carrying capacity. Right now, my three main stats are only 67, 79, and 77, so it\'s worth it to me to start over.
-
Now you\'ve given a possible thing to try after I finally reach the top of the very tall tower (as I ran out of \"targets\" after getting on the top of temple...).
That\'s some really high starting Endurance... (but then again, I never tried to make any characters strong on any single stat, maybe it\'s just a common high)
Hopefully I can make one with really high agi.
:P

Alright, so I have 120 endurance instead of 121 (big deal), and 85 strength instead of 83 (so it\'s perfectly ballanced with agility).
But check out the Charisma. :-D
-
ouch.. transfer some charisma from the endurance. Its just too way over the top. :P

It would be easier to transfer some Will over to Charisma, but I consider my character to be more willful than charismatic.
-
Well its your character.. make it as it suits you best :)
-
I thought 3 was already at the bottom, and now, you\'ve made a 1...
/me proceeds to become the dumbest person.
-
If I chose a race with a lower natural charisma, I\'d be in the negative.
-
In My Opinion.. its never too good to be too low in something just to have something as a super stat. Just a thought.

I agree. However, it\'s funny, and it makes sense - there are certain people who hate on me no matter how nice I am, no matter how much tria I give away to new players, no matter how much I guided people around. Thus, I must have really really crappy charisma! :-D
-
But it\'s always fun to be extra unique by having an extra low stat.
I need to learn how to act dumb soon, maybe.
-
Haha well, there will always be those unique characters :P
-
lol with cha on 1 even undead would avoid ya cause ya that ugle *grins*
-
Try to be in the negative charisma and cast some spell that uses it, the effects could be fun, amplified backfire or something :)
-
Darn, it seems like the lowest int that can ever be reached is 12.
-
Has anyone experimented with brown way magic? I\'ve been trying to get it to a high level but I can only get it to 3. If anyone has had success please help. :)

The highest possible from character creation should be level 7. I\'ll only tell you that it\'s all related to childhood. Have fun trying it out.

That sucks, why can I get Azure to 12, dark to 10, but brown to 7...
Like brown magic was so appealing to the avrage person in the first place...
Oh and thanks for the tiny hint. Any more info would be cheating. :)
-
Dark way I can get to 17 on creation, so far. :-D
-
I found how you can get level 7 brown way, but that\'s as high as it can go.
I also found how to start with level 7 sword and level 5 light armour, but it comes at a cost. Just how hard to get are levels 7 and 5 of sword and l. armour respectively?
Unfortunately, I could only find a way to get as much as level 3 in axe.:(
Edit:

My character, the way it is now, started off with 5 more in strength, 4 more in agility, and 14 more in endurance.
So the question is, which is a bigger hassel? Working your way up to level 7 in sword and level 5 in light armour, or regaining 23 levels in body stats?
Yes yes I know, this is power levelling. Except it isn\'t. I\'m doing this to make starting a new character as easy as possible, because I\'d much rather RP than kill rats. If I start off with some skill in sword and light armour, that I means I spend less time killing things.
-
Hey, theres nothing what so ever wrong with RPing and killing a bit on the side. Just PS isint a LEET killing PVP game with roxor skills which PWN and \"Own\" people.

I get that.
Do you think I should make the character start off with the light armour? I think it might be a good idea.... the swords could be usefull too.
Edit: I made a character with -2 Charisma.

At the moment, Im inclined to think that recovering 23 stat points would be easier, due to the new skill training system. However, if this is changed back to the way it was, the sword levels would be easier. But still, 7 sword levels gives you a big help at the start, so thats another thing to take into consideration.

Edit: I made a character with -2 Charisma.
-2? How did your charisma turn out? Crazy Charisma?

No more or less crazy than with -1. 65XXXXX.
It doesn\'t do much good though..... the cost of getting Charisma that low is that you loose the opportunity to get level 18 dark way / level 19 crystal way, so I don\'t see how you can exploit it. Either way, it\'s a bug which needs to be dealt with.
