Post by: nachoboy on August 09, 2005, 10:55:22 pm: yes yes i know, why do new members always ask so many questions..........anyway i dont know what race to choose i was thinking of klyros or a dwarf but I CANT CHOOSE, so............what is ur personal opinion........what is ur favorite Race in Planeshift?

Kran have really low agility though.

Demorians have pretty good mental stats, but crappy physical stats. From the way spells seem to work, it seems to me like having mediocre or even low mental stats don\'t hurt your magical abilities too too much. There is the issue of being in character of course.

my favourite race is demorian.

Yeah, of the three fighting stats, Kran have a higher average than the rest of the races. Dwarves come in second. The half-breed is pretty good as well.

I strongly believe though that how you set up your characters background story is even more important than which race you choose. For instance, I\'m an elf - but because of the history I choose, I started off with 85 strength, 85 agility, and 120 endurance. There was a cost though - I only have a level 1 Charisma raiting (yes, \"one\").

I\'ve also found a way to start with level 5 in swords and level 4 in light armour, which is no small deal now that the levelling system is different.

but it really depends on what you want to RP, a dermorian barbarian will make people laugh ... Choose the life you\'ll play, and find the race that will suit it better

as said by Talad in IRC once thats pronounced \"eennoon\" apparently, although that interpretationb can also be altered

must poke talad to record pronounciations ^^

Post by: Externals on August 12, 2005, 07:40:44 am: Klyrosses... thats the way I went but ill probably change my race around next time i log into PS.. its been about 2 months since iv actually tried using the client. Im sure theres been changes. o btw, is there any possibility that their wings may actually enable them to fly, or is it just for decoration?
