is it really lag or just a low framerate?

if it\'s the framerate, try using Adaptive distance (options - graphics - details)

if it\'s your connection, try to reconnect to your ISP - sometimes you get a \"bad wire\" with old copper cables (analog, ISDN, DSL) and chances are high that you\'re better of after a redial

edit: for the FPS problem it\'s also a solution to reduce the screen resolution via pssetup

unless you\'ve got an idioticly poor connection, or are using two tin cans and a piece of string you won\'t see connection lag.

check the perforamce tips under the bugs fourum, or you can search for lag, and thrush through the thousand or so duplicate lag threads like this one.

Disable the option \'Multisample for quality\' in pssetup. Before, I had big lags (between 1 and 20 fps) and now, i have between 30 and 200 fps (sometimes a little lag but it\'s normal )
