I rencently joined crystal warriors and i was thinking about making the guild more popular.So i came up with a fresh idea.A race from the plaza to oja with a 10,000 tria priza money for the winner. :))

Nice initiative ... may I ask when this marathon will take place?

Not that I \'ll have much of a chance to win. Since we \'re all equally fast it \'ll depend on stamina and a good computer, none of which I have :P

Actually, that is not true, people run at differnt speeds since the update. There were many small features hidden behind bugs ;)

I would suggest though that the race goes from the Magic Shop to the Oja-Gate so that nobody has to change regions. If people do, then those with a faster computer will surely win, especially if their\'s can handle \"loadallmaps.\"

Just my thoughts, but it sounds good, I hope I can participate.

Yeah, loading times for different sections of the game would really suck up your race and chances of winning unless you knew you would load up fastest.

Or perhaps you could hold a race around the plaza. 5 laps or something.

Yeah that\'s what I say too. I run faster than lot of people, must be my agility, but heh I have like no stamina so

The winning will also depend on hill-climbing skills and not getting stuck :P

and how will you ensure the validity of the results? I saw people cheating on Tour de France, not to mention less popular racing competitions... what you should definitely do is make a list (physical- on a piece of paper, which means you would need to have some sort of referees or whatnot) of competitors and at least make sure they start at the same time from the same spot...

Ok the marathon will be on next one week from now exactlly!We will meet everyone at the plaza and after we got eveyrones names we will head to the magic shop then my mate will say go! and ill be waiting for the winner at the oja gates if there is a draw.We will either split the tria or they will race again.But a draw is unlikly.

Then you shouldn\'t use the word marathon for your race. It\'s more of a cross-country sorta thingie... Marathons have fixed racetracks and any deviation from them leads to disqualification. As I see it, you are going to just let the folks run as best as they can, hoping that noone will get killed? No security measures? meh... I apply for the position of an independent regularity control entity. If you have any need for it, that is. but you\'ll need much more than that if you are intent on organizing manifestations of this type in the future (which IMHO is a great thing to do).
