Title: Guild warfare

I got sum realy cool ideas on guild warfare (or at least i think i have)

Ther should be small or empty villages around the maps and guilds should be able to own or capture these. they could hire out NPC\'s to sell stuff (Weapons, armour, potoins etc...) and get money when people buy their goods.

Other guilds could attack these villages leading to cool sieges :D

to capture these villages their shud be an NPC or other item that they have to attack

I ius thought this stuff cud be cool 8)

Yea, Neocron has something like that(outposts with shops.)  They are fun, you have to have fighters kill turrents and people around the base and a hacker has to get in there and hack the main computer to turn the outpost.  It is fun, that would be cool if something like that was in Planeshift.

Obviously taking over a town means the guild who owns that town gets money from sales and everything gooing on it. What if there were some way Benedict Arnold typ players could filter money into (Wink wink) enemy guilds? I hope they get those stone chucking machings (Trubeteches?)

this is a mmorpg not a war game :P but even so the idea is cool, and i think it would work in-game if people would do it in a RPing fashion.

then again there is the whole death and destrucion thing, and the slaughter of defensless little animals.
Not to mention the blood curdling screams from the forsaken souls who have found themselves imprisoned in Aelyas clutches.

*sigh* i knew at least one of you would reply with some smart comment like that. anyway phoenix, last i checked you were already in a guild (not counting BISM). dual-guildhood members will be a rare site in my guild.

ofcourse there should be guild wars and raids. but laying SIEGE would just send the game to runescape............ i mean hell. ( heehee) Because one guild would just get huge and destroy every town. For pking in general. you should only be able to kill people like within 10 lvl\'s of yourself. Otherwise when you first create a char you would just get humped by these huge guys.

I was only half serious.... but if I do ever decide to do a dual guild membership I\'ll keep the whole orgy thing in mind =p
