ATTENTION!!! Since I have found the person to do my website, I know longer need to look. ANYTHING YOU READ ON THIS THREAD IS OFFICIALLY CRAP!!!
Help!!! I am going to start a new guild, but I don\'t have a website and cant make one because I only know rudimentary HTML. It is generally a good idea to have the content that you would like to put on the site ready before the site is going to be designed. That way, the design will work around the content, not the other way around. If you have content for your site ready, posting at least a short summary here will allow webdesigners to see if they are up to the task.
Will you be looking for design of graphics, too?

Well, EXCUSE ME! I have been playing Planeshift for about a year now and am quite experienced. Just because I very rarely use the forums dosen\'t meen i\'m a noob!!! Also, as it so happens I have all the content ready, I just need someone to change it to HTML since the program I used doesn\'t do that. My guild is yet to be started and I need someone to work on it for me. My guild is basically the same as the Klyros of Fury but it is going to be composed of Enkidukai instead, and it will have other differences! As for my forum name, my little brother filled out the registration form while I was eating dinner! I have no control over him! I provided the E-mail so the designer and I could correspond in a more efficient manner than the forums!

Quite interesting. Though may I remind you of a guild called Feline\'s Lair? I am sure you will have differences between this organization (it\'s a lovely one, too), but I would personally like to know of these differences before considering designing something that may by accident be for a copycat guild.

Why get angry? She was trying to be helpful no need to get like that. So you have been here a year... if you dont need help with something then dont post. You have all the info you need thats great. But acting like that will only get you flamed

I had never heard of the guild Feline\'s lair until a few day\'s ago when they started appearing. I have been masterminding my guild for a few weeks now and my idea was exactly mine, just not original. About my recent outburst. I am sorry, I was already in a bad mood and was a bit offended by Seytra\'s remarks. I was not attempting to make anybody mad and certainly don\'t want any flaming on this thread (Knocks on wood).

About that short summary Karyuu mentioned.
My guild is a called the Enkidukai Flames it is a neutral guild composed of Enkidukai and is dedicated to all the different paths one can take in the Planeshift world ranging from mage to merchant. The site will have several pages that all need to be linked together (this mean that the designer will have post them on freewebs.com as he does them. There are five different groups within the guild, each dedicated to a different profession, called rings (I know the blitzers have the same thing going. The idea was mine, I just wasn\'t feeling creative and got the name from them, If anybody has a better idea please post it here.). If you want a more detailed description than visit my guild string when it is up, Which may take a while.

Feline\'s Lair (http://flare.slyip.com/) is two years old ;) I have no doubts at all that similar ideas may be thought up by different people, but if such a guild already exists, I would be against seeing another created as well.

Yes, well, I agree with karyuu but it was so much work getting ready to start the guild that I hate to see it go to waste.

About the Feline\'s lair being around for two years now. That is definitly a possibility, I am not very observant.

OK, since I\'ve already started posting here, I might as well post this: I severely dislike race-specific guilds. They have no justification besides OOC-ly wanting to restrict them. None. As I have posted on another thread, there is no way there cannot be exceptions. Even in tribes, which are closer societies than guilds are, people will be let in if there is sufficient merit to do so.
Anyway, the Klyros of Fury are a particularly bad example. The name is poor, and they seem to be nothing but PLs.

What is this supposed to be? Your name? Your guild name? If your guild name, this is bad, if your name, then... extremely bad. Either way, this does certainly not help your claim of \"being experienced\" with PS.
As for you being offended by my remarks: I have been very polite, actually.
I will never understand why people let others crerate accounts for them, or why they let others use their accounts, especially if the others obviously have no clue / cannot be trusted. Furthermore, if you fail to control him, you still have to accept responsibility for his deeds. Thusly, it is your fault. You could also easily have seen that the name was bad and created another account, but you didn\'t.
I still think it\'s a bad idea, but whatever.

If you had actually read my earlier posts you might actually have figured that out along with the fact that the guild is called the Enkidukai Flames, but we can tell that actually doing that is beneath your dignity, now if you are not going to say something constructive than dont use this thread!

Seytra\'s posts aren\'t flaming you, so please try to calm down. Flaming is, by definition, to make insulting criticisms or remarks, as on a computer network, to incite anger (dictionary.com). Seytra isn\'t trying to make you angry, but offer his opinion, which he is entitled to.
*edit* Moreover, I have sent you an email quite a while ago but received no reply yet. Instead of making infuriated posts on the forums, you can return to what you originally wanted to do, and see if I am able to help you with your website. Keep this attitude up, however, and you might find it hard for people to offer aid.

Where in this thread is the name \"Enkidukai Flames\" mentioned? Because even if I would have missed it while reading the thread (which I did, I assure you, I always do), my browser\'s find function can\'t find it, either, sooo...
Anyway, I am not flaming you. In fact, I have provided constructive criticism. That you don\'t like it is another story entirely. But obviously this is going to lead to nowhere and thus I will honor your request and stop posting here.

It\'s a learning experience ;) I\'m sure everyone expands their good qualities in time. And if he fails, then he will know to do better next time. Who knows.

I was just pointing out the obvious. One must crawl before the one can walk. What leadership experiance do you have? Been in any honored guilds? Hmmm... What is the purpose of your guild? Are you willing to pay 20000 tria for a homogenius guild that has major flaws in both design, creativity, and rp nessesity? Please show me a history, ethos, morals, divinity, short description of some of the ranks? I do wonder what kind of website you are making (The host of it, assuming it\'s a free one...)

This isn\'t a guild promotion thread, so he isn\'t required to show anything to anyone ;) Lighten up, guys. Once the website is ready with all the info, I\'m sure it\'ll be open to more serious criticism. In the meantime, this thread has served its purpose.

ROFL! You state that everything that makes you angry is flaming? Especially funny if everything you don\'t want to hear makes you angry. You seem to be way too immature to be leader of anything. You will have to face a lot of \"flamers\", as disagreements are unavoidable, especially when you lead a group.
@Karyuu: I seriously admire you for actually considering to help him even now. Just sad that your fan-fanart will suffer from this. :(

Surprise surprise. Been here over a year, and have no friends. That seems extremely unlikely. Also, the thing where \"I\'ve been here a year I\'m not a noob\" Being a noob isnt mesured by time. Being a newbie (newcomer) is. Your new, your a newcomer. But you can be here for 10 years, and still be a noob, (annoying rude etc)
Also..Karyuus got a good heart..or a patient one..probably both.
Thirdly, if your in need of friends, you might want to change your attitude towards opinions that are not exactly like yours.
Fourthly, I beat seytra to it, so ha. And finaly, wooh. I\'m bored :/
Finally, if you want to be called something other than your forum name, change your forum name?? And I\'ll be surprised if anyone calls you by your preferred name.
