No offence to the dev team, but I think it is sheer idiocy to put quests in the game when they aren\'t finished. I think it would be far more efficient and less frustrating than building the quest in the game bit by bit. I am suggesting that to fix this the dev team removes all quests from the game, finishes them, and puts them in the game during the next update. Also, Why do they do it this way in the first place?
-
I presume one of the reasons is because we are testers of the game as much as players? If you\'re frustrated about the quests, don\'t do them. Pretend they\'re not in-game yet. Not too hard.
-
If you intend not to offend, then don\'t use offensive language. Also, the quests were working once, but they don\'t anymore.
No offense to you, but I think posting a thread like this is pure idiocy.

Well, the whole point of us playing this game is to help test new features. The whole testing process is the game and all of the testers are us players. The only way problems can be found is if we players see it and report it. :D
-
Ahhh, I see. I have always thought of the game as less of a test version and more as a game with a lot of bugs.
In the year or so I have been playing, that has never occured to me. Clearly I need to update my view of the world.

Well, we are fully aware that there are a lot of bugs, for example we just pushed over 1000 bugs in the bug tracker. Now a lot of them are wishlist items and not bugs but is still a high number.
We try our best to make sure things are \'stable\' as we can but often time that involves just a single developer testing on a local machine. When you throw 100+ people at something there are often results we never thought of. :)
But we eventually overcome all of these bugs, just takes a bit of time. And sometimes it\'s hard to work a full time job in front of a computer and come home and spend several more hours on PS :).

Does that include GM\'s? :)
-
Well of course... but the devs do spend the most time, effort and... time and effort on the project, far more than anyone else, but :D
GMs are nice too.. :D Although I see it as almost a privlege and not a sacrifice..
