help me plz i have downloaded the game for the 8th time and i have re-installed it 10 times and the update is still crashing or going at 1kb/s and i have a 2 mb connection and im realy $@#!ed off because it got to 95% in 4 days and crashed plz send me a link or sumit where i can dl it maualy!!

edit :ps its just gone up to 7kb/s and 6% woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

first use proper words. next try -auto or recovery mode if you use windows... there is quite alot of stuff to get much pretty art, but is worth the wait.

hi i have that problem.

it just wnet up to 3.0!!

oh wait nvm its back down to 1.0 :(

i hope the game isn\'t this slow because if it is i might as well get a deck of cards and play a gme against myself or something cuz its that slow that a turn based card game would be faster.

the only thing is i cant lvl up in my cardgame and there arent n e cool monster or grafics or other ppl especialy girls.

r there gurlz in paneshift? does anyone know where the best place for htem is or they\'re names. an i mean realy ones not the ones that are guys crossdresing online lmao

Please use proper English and search (see link in my sig) for your answers. It may just be that the server is running slow, or a lot of people are updating. Or maybe your internet is running slow.

but just fyi, its is possible for your internet to be slow, especially if ur chinese ;)
but since theres no way to figur out theres no point in talking about internet slowsnes, specialy on the internet lol.

who is blue Command? lol sounds like hes pretty important to b in command but id rather be red command cuz its red like FIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Actually, the connection here in China is quite good! I am sitting here with my 1mbit line and play the game quite happily. At least I never had download rates of 1 or 3 kb/s, as you were mentioning in one of your threads. The only thing that is blocked out is amnesty international and various other sites.

What is rath? I believe the word you are guessing for in your signature is wrath.

Well im going to give up... that damn updater continuosly crash ... all the time after a looooong wait .

so damn boring man....
why don\'t release a simple patch or a full updated client???!?!?!?

all files are ........... arts!!! is this the way ?? i think...no^^

I can\'t waste all my time waiting for a game to UPDATE.

I am having this same problem but I don\'t know what you mean by auto or recovery mode... so can someone tell me in english how I can make this update go faster? and yes I\'ve read thru all of the posts in this thread... I just don\'t know what all this stuff means >.<

go into start>all programs> planeshift crystal blue> and look for updater (recove mode) or whataver way it says that.

other way of doign it is right clicking a shortcut to updater, select properties, in the window that opens look for the box labelled \'target\' at the end of the long line (after the ...psclient.exe\" put --auto

like this

\"c:\\program files\\planeshift crystal blue\\psclient.exe\" --auto then click apply/ok and try running it again

Just a small thing about the update process...

When running under text only mode, the updater took an age to sync the following ZIP file:

C:\\Games\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\\art\\world\\akkaio.zip

All of the sync process ran at 1KB\\s when synching this file.  However, once the updater moved onto other files, it ran at whataver speed it could, hitting 50 or 60KB\\s at some points.

Possibly a problem with that ZIP file as opposed to the updater?  Just a thought.
