I just emerged blender, had a look at the manual, grabbed a photo from a \'best looking girl\', spent 2 hours, and tada !!

I know, it needs loads of work, but first I need to learn more about blender,  the light make strange things sometimes... I just wanted to try blender, conclusion is : it\'s GREAT :D it\'s really easy to learn the basic stuff, and with all those shortcuts I guess you can be very fast with some practice.
A little question: how do I know how many poly my mesh uses ?

All flames welcome (by me, but probably not by moogie :D )

wow.  I emerged blender and got as far as rendering a cube (which was already there when i started) and a sphere.  I got my friend to play with it and he managed to render a kinda funny looking spaceship.  I also tried to render a spaceship but I am just not that cool.  A decent tutorial would come in handy.

@cyl: they are connected but not flat, so there\'s an angle :)

if you find good tutorials, I\'ll be glad, I think I\'ll try the ones at blender3d.org first.
