Title: New user Trouble connecting

hi new user here. ok i\'m not able to update says out of mirrorz, i\'m not able to ping the server either. i use windows xp SP2 and the firewall is off. any help would be great :)

meh just my luck :(  i just quit knight online due to their server problems, lags, and DCs. can u guys tell me if this is a contant problem here? if it is i need to continue my search :(

PlaneShift is a pre-alpha tech demo, so server and  client instability are issues that have to be dealt with by the playerbase and development team pretty often. If you are looking for a game that has a tame and tranquil code, this may be a bad choice ;)

I\'m new as well, and I was thinking my connection or installation had been screwed up, until I couldn\'t even load the registration page.

What does the Fragnetics page have to do with Planeshift though?

darn it!! this is the 3rd game i tried and downloaded today that doesnt work :( not my day i guess. i\'ll wait and test this out before i go stomping off because i can\'t play :) anyone know any other good online MORPG? <--- lol think i got the morpg part right ;0)

Fragnetics hosts the laanx server for PlaneShift. You won\'t be able to make a new account until it is back up.

Dthwraith, don\'t play MU if you quit Knight online coz of DCs and lags coz Mu has millions of them, plus it gets boring, umm.. i\'m currently looking for a half decent online MMORPG atm as well, planeshift looks good but it ain\'t complete yet

So Fragnetics is a 3rd party vendor then, and other companies like them can host the game as well?
