Title: Can I change my characer's desripion?
Post by: thandar on September 16, 2005, 02:41:12 pm
Hi Folks,

I\'ve just noticed that some player characters have great descriptions rather that the automatically generated type. You know the thing \"My mother was a hamster, my father smelt of elderberry\".

Is it possible for me to change mine? If so, how do I go about it?

Thanks.

Thandar.

Yes it\'s possible.
Go to your skill window and left click at the \"invisible\" box that is right to the eye icon.

I still have one problem. I can\'t see how to see the changes. If I leave the screen and go back in, they\'re gone.

How do I save the changes.

Thanks.

Thandar

You have to click on an invisible \"Save\" button, on the bottom. I believe on the left-hand somewhere. You aren\'t just closing the window, are you?

Yeah, either they didnt make the icons, or they wanted it to be hidden... either way that is how you do it.

Invisable buttons heh, its like the invisable \'Train\' button in the Elf layout

If you don\'t feel like hunting for invisible buttons, you can always use the unofficial patch (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=17156&boardid=17).
