Title: main menu missing

my main menu has been gone for a few days (the one with the circles) and no there are no arrows in the corner or a little box i can drag out someone said something about changes in the cfg file but i didn\'t know what they were going on about...... any help would be greatly appreciated

go to your ps dir, open planeshift.cfg witha text editor (wordpad or notebook things)

find the line

PlaneShift.GUI.ControlWindow.Visible = false

and change the false to a true then save and play away

actually this happened to me... and the false thing cahnging to true didnt work... SO!!! let me find my old post and show you how i fixed mine... thing is it would go away when i exited and i would have to do the resize thing again... BUT i would leave it open when i logged out and it would stay...

well i cant find it... it is titled Button Menu Thingy... i think it is...

Edit your planeshift.cfg and change it\'s position:

the thing is... what everyone said didnt change a thing... until this one smart guy said to change the size... he said to add/change this...


PlaneShift.GUI.ControlWindow.Width = 421
PlaneShift.GUI.ControlWindow.Height = 369

which mine didnt have thus making it 4 by 3 and if you have good vision or look really closely or something you can see a small golden dot at the top left of your PS veiw... and if you move your mouse to the top left corner of the screen you can click it and you see TINY TINY round things and you click them and it brings up the corresponding button\'s menu... all as if it was big only it is small...

Interesting... There\'s supposed to be a minumum size.  Odd how that was exceded.  I\'m going to have to look into this more...

maybe also have a way to lock the GUI to prevent screwups like this, with the window positioning and all..

That\'s strange. I see this bug for a long time in client built from cvs sources, nobody else have noticed it ? Really ?
You can prevent this from happening by maximizing control window before leaving Yliakum (I bet You won\'t remember to do it :P ).
