Title: Cannot make ps start.

Whenever I open the program It just says something unexpected has happened would you like to save a disnotstic file? and the window closes.

It\'s also worth noting that i\'m stuck on a few month old build. I had to reinstall awhile ago and the updater won\'t go past a certain point.

The updater is now insanely slow due to some problems with the server, if the updater launches correctly and keeps getting files, I suggest you to continue using it; specially considering that even downloading the newest version of the game avaiable you\'ll have to update anyway.
If you want, you can launch the updater in recovery mode so you\'ve a more detailed view of what it\'s doing.

It?s working perfectly well now, at least for me. it only took 45 minutes to update everything.

I dont know why but for some reason the first few times i started PS it gave me run times and validations but now it runs without anything unless i alt tab and it says something unexpected has happened save diognostics yadda yadda but yes that only happened a few times with me... it might be my video card because i got a new one and an updated driver thingumy and so yea it works smoothly... what video card do you have and do you have the latest driver for it? And Nilrem is right it is insanely slow and people keep telling us about it... and it is being quite bothersome... i have been trying to get a sticky for the updater but so far nothing... which i dont blame them because it isnt a MAJOR problem it is just a bandwidth usage and space taker but it would still be the same on a sticky cept MAYBE people would READ it and not repost anything already said... but then again you can never count on everyone

The updater doesn\'t load files at all. it just thinks there\'s nothing to load!

i think i\'m having the same problem i\'ll pick my character then the map loading bar gets to the end then i get this error message:

something unexpected happened in planshift: cyrstal blue detalis: exception_acess_violation at 004BA79A

it keeps happeing i can\'t get in so any help would be apprecaited

oh and all my stuff is fully updated so its nothing like that

No, i click the planeshift icon on my desktop, and the window opens and IMMEDIATELY i get an error message.

Perhaps you need to redownload the newest version avaiable.
