I was just wondering what diferent classes can you be in this game? I know the races but not the classes =(
-
There are no classes. You can be whatever you want to be, because PlaneShift is a true roleplaying game first and foremost ;)
-
but then does that mean there are no skills? how is the skill system set? like does everyone get the same skills or...confused XL what about equipment and such does it go by race or...
-
Skills are completely independent of \"class.\" There are many of them available (though not all implemented yet), and you choose the skills you want to work with. You can be a warrior, and choose between swords, daggers, axes, melee, etc., or be a mage and choose between the six different ways, or \"schools\" of magic, you can be a crafter (or weapons or armor), cook, builder, musician, etc. Though as I stated, the current choices are limited (and searching through the forums will let you know which skills are currently available for increasing). Armor does not go by race, nor does equipment, though many weapons require either a certain amount of strength or agility, I believe, to equip and use.

musician? wat are you supose 2 do with that? would that be like a bard or something? X_X you fight with a flute? and use somekind of magic skills >.> <.<
also can you dual weapons?
-
I doubt musicians would fight, but one could always train with a sword or dagger on the side. Again, you choose the skills you want to work with. You can be a cooking warlock, if you want. Or a miner with healing skills. It just doesn\'t matter.
Roleplay comes first, and you can roleplay anything :)
\"Can you dual weapons\"..? Not sure I understood. Did you mean to ask if you can wield two weapons? If that\'s the question, the answer is yes.

kewl thanks.

I think I just found a new calling. And it shouldn\'t interfere too much with my butler duties, either.
And Karyuu, I love the new sig. Unfortunately, those who would benefit most probably won\'t get it.
