Title: Game Error
Post by: DMaster2 on September 25, 2005, 10:23:50 pm
When i load the tech demo it gave me this error:\"Something unxepected happened in Planetshift: Crystal Blue. Details: EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO at 6922F7BA. Woul you like to save a diagnostic file?\"
Followed by an another window that say:\"Saved dump file to C:\\... Please consult the Planeshift forum for more details.\"
What means?
What can i do?
PS:I have changed the older vfs.dll with the new downloaded in this forum and i have updated 3 times...

http://command.no-ip.com/dmp/
This is a good place where to start to s olve that kind of troubles.
It seems your problem is rather new, compared to the ones visible on the website, so I would suggest you to upload the .dmp file.

If your problem is during loading try also to disable sound, it is usually a common issue.

I have already tried with this link and it says me that it had not upload nad it had no comment...
The problem is that i can\'t disable the sound because the setup crash when i try to open it and the game can\'t start, it crash when i open it and say me this:\"Something unxepected happened in Planetshift: Crystal Blue. Details: EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO at 6922F7BA. Woul you like to save a diagnostic file?\"

This is my BIG problem...

I know I might sound trivial, but have you updated with the updater? Or does that crash as well?

Greetings,

Please use this link and follow the instructions: http://psmirror.u24.solone.net/

After doing that, use the Updater in Recover mode, and it should fully update your game without lag issues.

Once you\'re updated, try PSSetup again.

If it still crashes, I\'m all out of ideas. That\'s just how it goes in pre-alpha development I guess. :)

If it crashes again, I think it is time to use this:
http://command.no-ip.com/dmp/
sending your dump file and waiting for a result.

Maybe with a new update/release the bug will disappear, so you can also wait for that if the procedure described by Moogie doesn\'t work.

Yes, I read your previous messages, but try to upload (you say that it cannot upload?) or contact blueCommand -the owner of the site - if you have troubles uploading.

I am out of suggestions.

If you want to know progress or just want to ask something:
(blueCommand in #planeshift@irc.freenode.net)
