Title: Signature Text Length Extended
Post by: Efflixi Aduro on October 02, 2005, 09:25:54 am: Could the devs please increase the signature length to like 500 instead of 300? 300 is pretty pathetic since it counts every space and letter. Plus text doesn\'t take up much room so people could hardly tell the difference of 500.

The reason is that I can\'t put in any of my favorite quotes because they\'re too long. :(

There are a lot of ways to customize text, whether with html or BB code; and just changing colors, fonts, sizes, and styles of various text pieces, adding a single properly sized image, and including a single link often doesn\'t work due to the current maximum characters setting.

200 pixels in height? That would be enough for a complete (i.e. not resized or cropped) screenshot of e.g. Doom.

First thing I do when joining a forum is to turn off sigs ( a hangover from dialup days) :)

Post by: stfrn on October 07, 2005, 06:00:03 am: As you can tell, I don\'t like using images :) Some people have nice sigs, but oy, most animated ones... just make reading anything on the page hard. And if there is more text space, we\'ll be seeing more in sigs then posts...
