Greetings once again Yliakum

I come to you, on behalf of the Arcane-Council, to enlighten you on the happenings of the Tower Arcana. We are a collective of Wizards, Mages, Sages, and just plain crazy people; who fully devote ourselves to magic. Most do not know of us due to our prior in game activity, however we are rectifying this issue, and are now reaching into the game more so.

Our goal is to spread the knowledge of magic through out the known world, and to educate those brave enough to seek knowledge.

There are a few things you must know about our guild, mainly dealing with the lower levels.

Apprenticeship
You begin your career in the order as an apprentice by talking to a regular member (higher than adept) and persuading him or her to become your master. Once your master feels you are ready to become a true member, he or she shall test you for the title of adept.

Adepthood
After you have taken the first step up the ladder(which is likely the hardest step) you work less with your master, and more on your own, however you stillr eport to your master periodicly.

What gets you promoted?

You\'re in!
Once your a full member, you report to no one except the lead of your major(more on that in a second), and do your own projects, you also gain access to the member library, you can even take on an apprentice at this point.

Majors
When you become a true member, you must choose a calling:

Our Projects
For those of you who do not like in-game as much as most, we have other activities as well:

you can find more about these out by visiting our irc channel on freenode, easy using our applet
Here (http://www.irc.arcane-order.com/index2.html)   ,  or by checking out our forums (http://www.forums.arcane-order.com) . And of course you can find our website at http://www.arcane-order.com

Whats actually new?
well mainly, the restarting of AO-Mush (a mud type engine). Arcane-Order is also starting an in game trend, b/c if you notice, we\'ve not been there :P

Additionally, the website is goignt o be re-done to better suite our current trends. There is going to be arcane-order.com, which is modeled like http://www.arcane-order.com/online however it will have links to all the different branches and site proects of AO, so people who soley do AO rp will have there won section, planeshifters will have their own, and of course all our \'official\' projects will have their own.

Thats really all thats new, oh and my pretty banner :]

Until we speak again, farewell.

Definitely the second one.  The numeral \"1\"  seems way out of place int the first one.  As for the color and shading differences, I could go either way.

yes, the \"1\" is easily fixable though

I would say the first one druketh as it the second one is harder to read

They\'re both hard to read. >_< Make \"Arcane Order\" stand out more. I hate having to squint at the guild banner. :P

I wanted to say that :/

Moreover in first \'e\' looks like \'c\', whilst in second \'c\' looks like \'e\' (because of the brightness in that point)...

Same problem here, it seems like the AO site is down or not reachable or whatever.

I also haven\'t seen any members of AO ingame for quite a while (which does not necessarily mean a lot, because I\'m not on that often). However, I wonder how many of you are still active?

The AO is still alive, do not fear! We\'re just going through a bit of a bad spot. One of our leaders, our founder and webhost, Druke, has given up on the guild. We\'re still around and you can find our roleplay forums here (http://www.theforsakenones.com/roleplaying/). Feel free to stop by and roleplay. :) In the next few months we\'ll probably get a website up and get back in business, but for now we\'re dropping into the shadows a bit.

@ Kymizer and everyone else..... AO is still around; the website is down mostly because us poor university students don?t have money to spend. ...... Are we in game? No, its not a game yet, are we around a lot less than we used to? Heck ya, I got a life now,

AO was a group of friends that enjoyed gaming together and hanging out.  We still do that, just not as much as we used to.  ATM we are in games like NWN and WOW (spirestone level 54 mage named kethra), once oblivion comes out we will be playing that and about 3 months later, once we?ve played the game to its death look for us to be making a mod.

The only real connection we have with PS atm is our role-playing uses the PS setting, and ever now and then we check up on game updates, Cha0s is far our most active member in PS but then he also isn?t in university yet :P

so if your looking for an active PS guild, don?t bother, If your looking for a place to RP, hang out, and play games, come by, you don?t have to be a member to hangout and have fun.

Indeed. Many of us are still around. Nivard is even in game. Forums are and always have been the best way to get in touch with someone from the Order.

Good to see you guys still stick together even though you don\'t play PS anymore. When you come back to this game, I\'m sure you\'ll be a force to be reckoned with... :P

I beg your pardon :p

actually I just wasn\'t able to renew the DNS in time, our new site will be at ordo-arcanum.com and should be up by tomarrow (dns has to propagate)
