Isn\'t war something we should avoid? Don\'t we strive for peace? Then why bring war unto our own?
The current prohibicionist laws have been proved to be not only unefficient, but negative. Marginalization, stigmatization and violation of human rights are some of its most dire consequences.
While the law attempts to win a war against a human drive, the ones that really profit are those allied with corruption and organized crime.
We have to contribute to a better and fairer set of laws. And being informed and educated does half of the work.
ENCOD\'s site (http://www.encod.org) has a fairly good amount of information and links to very informative sites.
If you don\'t want to go through the trouble of researching and educating yourself, then I ask you to read ENCOD\'s last bulletin (http://www.encod.org/BULLETIN9.pdf). Maybe then your point of view might be widened.
