hi I\'m new so how do I start playing the game?

i would recommend that you download the client as a first step, then you can get onto updating and reading the guide.

The Downloads section on the main PlaneShift website offers instructions for creating an account:

After filling in and submitting the registration form, you will receive an email with a link to the activation page. Before loading the world however, make sure that you have updated both the game client and your graphics card drivers. The PlaneShift updater utility can be found in your main PS directory, and Start->Programs->Planeshift Crystal Blue->Planeshift Updater if you?re on Windows. You may want to follow instructions found in this thread (http://planeshift.oodlz.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=19398&boardid=17&styleid=3), however, since regular updating has been troublesome lately. While waiting for the updater to finish its work, I would suggest you read the Player Guide (http://www.planeshift.it/guide/en/index.html), and browse through a few stickies found in the various forum sections.
