Title: how to start?
Post by: gaxatte on October 17, 2005, 06:49:58 pm
I\'m using a mandriva 2005 64
I downloaded the file ...run, marked it as executable and launched it. ./etc.
Install started and stopped after this last window \"Installation of Planeshift is now complete.
...
OK
Then, this message :
/home/martine/programmes/planeshift/updater.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Second question : what file launches Planeshift?

Hello.

Please, post Linux related questions to Linux specific issues (http://planeshift.oodlz.com/wbboard/board.php?boardid=41).

You need to install compatibility libraries. Just type (from root account):
urpmi libstdc++5

(I\'m not sure whether it is available in 64 bit version...)

Don\'t run files ending with .bin. Use the files without this extension (psclient, updater etc.)
