Well I was checking the new Site with the server-stats (http://laanx.Fragnetics.com) and had a hard time figuring out when the latest news happened to took place. The problem is, that many people here post messages in different timezones (in this case SGT). Maybe it would be more readable if everyone would stick to one timezone e.g. GMT.

Well i am +10 GMT so it could be easy to read but it could be quite annoying as well but 1 time overall would help

If it is a real problem...you can request the server to have it in GMT

most boards have an option to set the time to your own time zone.
this board is either set up before that was an added feature or has been disabled for some reason.
if you can\'t add or remove a few digits from a clock you shouldn\'t really be worrying about time itself :)

Actually I cant see how this is accomplished, could you explain that in regards of that website I\'ve mentioned above?

Same to you, if you\'ve had checked the link to the website you\'d know that it isnt that easy to change the time, if its possible at all.
Well and adding a few digits from a clock shouldn\'t be that much of a problem (Iam actually a student of computer science, there you have to do a \"little\" bit of math) but do you know the shortcuts for _all_ timezones plus how much you have to add?
The thing is, that if you give feedback you actually want to help the developers to make their website, application etc. better, if they don\'t want to do so iam o.k. with that (at least if I dont pay em\'). But I think this website could actually contain some useful information, people do always ask for the status of the server. You could reduce this afford to tell everybody hows the server doing, by referencing that website.
But if much people checking one website you have to think about automation. Automation by the way is a word used for a very useful process: If you could do an action once that nearly every user has to do later, you do it because you have to do it only once and not thousand of times.

hey don\'t get all high and mighty on me buddy, compu science whatever you wanna call it or not, your just another person here, same as all of us, besides i odnt need to know every timezone and their shortcuts, just the ones i am in or use, of which i do.
And if you wanted to help the Developers improve their site, it would go in forum requests for forums, wishlist for the game, there isn\'t one for the main site as that is all ready purdy.

Most of the time I hand edit the server status page for updates. Because of this I just check the time on the server and use that. I will try to stick with GMT from now on. ( Just be glad I don\'t use my own timezone :) )

Its great for you, that you know every timezone you need, but I think that there are users that are not as much in timezones as you are, do you agree? Consider this: Youre the man who wrote the navigation system for the first moon-mission. You wrote a program which couldn\'t actually calculate the correct time, so a astronaut has to do it all manually. This person makes a mistake and the mission fails (3 men dead).
Would you, in the next mission:
[ ] Invest 15 minutes of developement time in date calculation
[ ] Not Invest 15 minutes of developement time, so that the astronaut needs to calculate the time manually again?
Btw. Why have I alway to defend my self here if I make proposals?
