its been i think 2 days and a half its been down it there some sort of proble why its down
-
It\'s been working this morning, but it\'s crashed 3 or 4 times in the last hour or so. Just keep trying
-
In between builds at work I am trying to take a look at the core dumps that have been gerenated on laanx.
-
Man every time I try it, it dose wait 100 then Fail 100
-
Try to ping laanx.fragnetics.com and see if you get replies, or if the connection times out. On Windows, you would do that simply by typing \"ping laanx.fragnetics.com\" in the Run command. If the connection times out, the server is truly unreachable at the moment and there isn\'t much you can do on your end. If you get replies but the client still won\'t let you in, you might have a small problem - usually fixable by opening the required port for the game, UDP port 7777 (for server \"Laanx\").
-
Every updates is followed by some problems. Especially in this situation where a basic internal testing has been skipped.
Just have patience and as soon as possible everything will be fix: spotting bugs and finding a solution is time demanding.

Day 345
Log: ahh cant take it any more gonna starve with out PS Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway
are u sure it will fix it self
because seems like it is gonna stay like that
-
I think you can do some other nice activity, e.g. watch TV, read a book, etc.etc. in the while :-)
Anyway, I am pretty sure the problems will be fixed, it is just that *we* don\'t work 27 hours per day on PS since we have jobs/school/life/etc to do also and problems are time demanding in order to be fixed correctly.
Give us time.

I get replys from all 4 packets (0% packet loss) so i need to know what i can do to fix it.
Would you mind giveing a little more information on how to open the UDP port 7777?
For me and the rest of the newbies out there :]
-
As said already, it depends from your software.
-
yeah, I tried the Run thing for my windows, and it wasnt timed out, now I need to know how to do the UDP port 7777 thing. Thanks!

Try to find the manual to your firewall/router. If you don\'t think you have one around, google your model and I\'m sure guides will come up. There are just too many variations to post step-by-step instructions :)
-
Uhh, I dont have a firewall activated. Im gtting a Norton one, but it dosnt activate till december 21st!
-
No router either? And you\'re still getting a \'Fail\' by the server?
-
No, I have a router, Its just that I uninstalled our previous firewall to maike room for Norton

Please try to read through the various threads already created (and stickied) in the Mac OSX Forum (http://planeshift.oodlz.com/wbboard/board.php?boardid=32). Your problem (even though you haven\'t posted any details at all) may have already been addressed.
-
Do go to bottom of this forum you will find Mac section there and you will also find out no Macs are online at all and wont be till the Mac version is translated.
O welcome :))
