Title: how do i start a guild??
Post by: rayteon69 on November 20, 2002, 03:56:53 am: How do i start a guild?? or does anyone know and yes i have read the section on it im just wondering how bcuz i tried to and it wouldnt alow me. :(

Post by: Princess Aelya on November 20, 2002, 04:03:20 am: its pretty easy. you need a good website. a description of your guild, (name,alignment,beliefs,goals, etc.) and an advertisement in the guilds forum. beyond that all you can do is hope someone is interest and joins.

Post by: FyreBlade on November 20, 2002, 06:18:55 am: very nice site, but yeah, you might wanna change some of the images. i had to highlight half the stuff there is to read it. secondly, you might want to define an alignment (good, neutral, evil, etc.) and an actual ingame purpose, not just beliefs and a story. and finally, you should have more technical information, and less Role-Playing stuff. or you should at least have just as much. i mean yes, we all enjoy role-playing and we all enjoy a purpose and ingame beliefs of a guild, but you need a bit more substance to match the style. like you could say \"in planeshift, we will gain as much land as possible and hold on to it\" or \"we will become the richest/most powerful guild in planeshift\" or just \"we will be a neutral guild ingame\" or SOMETHING to that effect. those goals may sound ludicrous, but at least they are GOALS. all you have are a narratical setup for your guild. like i said before, you have the background, now make a future. good luck with your guild.

First of all go to a website called http://www.geocities.com and sign up. Then go to the drag and drop website maker. After your there make some lame things up like. The dark legion was formed when the heavens and hell collided and made great power of darkness.

Anyways get some members and hopefully they wont be people like superw3rds. anyways i hope you loved this sup3rguid3.

As for registering a guild, well, first you need atleast 10 people. Than you need to make ranks for them, like I have done on the site, ONLY I allow members to pick their own rank. Than, after you get the site up and stuff. Afterwards, click here, go to the \"community\" part, than on \"guilds\", and follow the step by step instructions: Guild Register (http://www.planeshift.it/main_01.html)

EDIT: what this means, is that as soon as the site gets updated, we will be the second, or the first, guild on the list, I have no idea who was the one that registered before us. Plus this way, we are \"Actually\" official.
