Title: Widgets Failed to load

Ok I started to load the game after I chose my character, after I updated to this new verison and now \'Failed to load 1 or more Midgets!\' WTH!!!!! I need help to fix this :(

I want to play  T-T

Can you check psclient.txt and see which are the widgets that it is failing to load? You should have them written there.

Dependently from that we can see how to solve the problem.

You probably have the skillwindow not update: try to delete this file and re-update it

Go in Planeshift dir/data/gui and find skillwindow.xml
delete it and try to see what happens with the update.

Thnx that worked, but this update is straining my eyes. I dont even know where my old things are and configuring the display now looks like a pain. ow.

Edit: This update makes PS for me absolutly unplayable. I had a frame rate of random decreasing numbers. The hair colors look horrible, the greet for male Enki is ok but not original compaired to the other greets. The Enki sit is WAYYYY to feminine need a kneel or something that doesn\'t make them look like they are \'that way\'. By that way i mean gay, because they do. They need a warrior sit, or something like that. But its unplayable not because of the sit, greet, or hair color.. But because I can\'t look at the screen without my eyes hurting and the FPS going nuts, \"30 - 4 - 20 - 6 - 10 - 4 - 3 - 1 - 20 - 1 \"

They don\'t. I like the sitting pose, anyway. I wonder if warriors aren\'t supposed to sit in a relaxed way? The hair colors aren\'t that bad either.

There is indeed an issue with the framerate somewhere. I, too, noticed some very spurious FPS jumping going on after logins.
This goes away when one walks to another zone and back. It may also be related to having \"keep maps loaded\" turned on, and may further be windows-specific, though I need to test that more.

bigbourin:  Do these errors prevent the game from loading?  If they do, then it\'s not just that bug that Nilrem quoted.  That report is talking about some widget loading idiocies, but they\'re all non-fatal.  If you are having some serious problems, the first step is to... you guessed it... run the updater.

I have forgotten , i have took my log in the konsole , i don\'t have log file. the erreur arrive when i joint the game , after loading the map.

bigbourin,

From your log I see that you are using Linux. Take a look at the thread here (http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=19377&boardid=41&styleid=2&sid=6dfa7a67664e06d847e9a2e5617adac8&page=2). Scroll down to the message from Heydulf and a reply from stfrn. That should solve your problem.
