I do recall seeing this mentioned before, although I haven\'t experienced this problem myself.

Have you tried updating again?  After the server update, I had to run the updater three times before I got all of the new files.

update is way to long. i left it on all night and just finished this morning. the updater goes barely past 2kb/s

I\'m having the same problem actually. Just deleted all data and art files, now running the recover mode updater. Zuppka maybe you should try the same if all else fails.

It\'s not fast, I have been updating for the last 3 hours. But I think this is the only solution.

I had the same problems. The \"art\" files are probably not the reason; I just could not yet find out the only one file in the \"data\" folder which could be the reason, so you may have to update whole paths...

And if the update from the one server is too slow, try the other.

and for those who don\'t like to read, I guess I\'ll be nice this one time.

Great work all.

So it was the DLL files, not the data files... Then I wonder why the updater did not detect them to be different and to be updated.

I had to keep at least the following DLLs to allow the updater to work at all (either Windows told me a DLL is missing in the PATH, or the updater could not process files without them):
All other DLLs could be (re-)moved before running the updater in recovery mode.

I would not delete any files until the updater succeeded.

Instead, create a temporary folder, and move all *.dll files from the \"PlaneShift Crystal Blue\" folder into that new one - except for those I mentioned, they have to remain where they are.

Then start the updater in recovery mode.

I tried recovering the .dll\'s and that did not work, so I went to the setup and turned off vertex buffer object, and now I have animations.
