Something I would like to see in the future is a Mac update when the regular update comes out. I understand mind you that at the moment there may be no one that does it regularly (to my knowledge), the binary for the Mac update. I know of a few working on it now, alas it has been a week sence the update and no binaries have been set (AFAIK) for Mac. Yes, I know people are doing this in their free time and I thank them for their hard work. Nonetheless, I would like to see in the future that when an update is ready for implimentation that other platform OS\'s like Linux and Mac can also be set.
Perhaps, me thinks I ask to much.

Part of the problem is CS and part of the problem is the binaries. Due to Mac-specific issues, CS bugs can be fixed at dates after the latest stable release for PS (that\'s what\'s going on now). The other problem is packaging the binaries. Dfryer wrote some nice scripts to do this. Unfortunately, they\'re probably out of date now, and I don\'t know how exactly to go about updating them.

Understood.......I guess at some point in the future given free time alows, I may just have to look into learning how to do such things myself. I know several of my friends that are well learned in some of those areas. ( i.e. web stuff) I\'ll check someone I know when he gets back from ::Pumpcon:: and see what he knows perhaps he can help. Who knows, perhaps I can learn enough to help or get some other persons modivated enough to help. That way you and Dfryus aren\'t the seemingly only ones stuck with or the only ones willing to do the task. Course proper channels will be taken first. :D

go to the mac specific forum, read the READ BEFORE POSTING sticky, scroll down, click the update.jar programs and download them, make a new folder on the desktop, drag your planeshift disk into the new folder and put the updater.jar program in the folder too, double click and start update. Just like the real updater.

Read his post... that wasn\'t what he was asking... He was actually discussing the timing of update releases.
