Just wishing the Planeshift community a happy and safe Halloween...Cheers!

I will remain safe until midnight behind my cubical walls. After that, who knows...
Happy Halloween to those who recognize it in some happy way.

There are kids running around outside, being noisy and smelly of sweets. Oooh those miserable kids.
Hope everyone has another regular day ;)
-
I did a count at my door tonight. (I had a little clicky-counter-thing)
I had 126 kids show up to snag my M&Ms and tootsie rolls.
How many actually said \"thank you\"?

I don\'t have halloween in Australia :P but anyway. I am jealous of all the other kids getting all those sweets from people and rotting their teeth :D

Wow I had so much fun tonight I wish it didn\'t end...
And no I didn\'t go trick or treating. :P
-
I live in an apartment complex adjacent to my college.
Trick or Treaters = few.
Parties = many.
Ahhh Halloween, the only holiday where it is legal for girls to walk around in their underwear.

Heh, I\'m in the same situation. I left my apartment at 6-ish and still nary a trick-or-treater. Walked over to a friend\'s house for one of those lovely parties (she shares a house with 3 other folks) and she got about 15~20 kids. There was this one really cute little 7-year-old dressed as Freddy Kreuger. I kind of doubt the poor thing ever even saw Nightmare on Elm Street because he even seemed like he was scared of my friends (this was before drinks were introduced to the party). I mean, come on...would you be scared of these people (http://hhttp://img113.imageshack.us/my.php?image=n113184491274397160229yz.jpg)? :P
Never attend a party on a school night, even if it only has a dozen people. The morning after is never pleasent.

Ah, Halloween, the day when the spirit and normal world allegedly become one...... So people run around dressed as creatures of the night..... which was actually designed by various companies to make huge amounts of money... wow looks like it worked, people are giving away huge amounts of money to guys who are laughing at them :P

Those must have been some seriously old corporations.. ;)
I bet they would have made a lot more money selling their anti-aging solutions instead of getting people to dress up in costumes during a holiday....
Your history is a bit skewed. :)

Halloween has roots in various celtic/pagan holidays, but was never widely celebrated until recently by the majority of people. I\'m sure that people didn\'t start chucking out money like they do until the corporations started producing, and made a market for it.

You just have to think of it as a negative thing dont you?
-
yes :)
wouldn\'t be Xordan without that would he
FIX >:| Xordan FIX! >:| ^^

guess not now that I think about it.

Well I didnt dress up this halloween.. but we took our two little boys out. Now my mom bought the costums so it was a bit funny.. My two year old was dressed up as a blue Carebear :P.. and our one year old as a Frog. But either way Halloween is usually pretty fun if only we could get out of school for it :). But what Ive always thought was soo funny is the amount of religious people who wont celebrate it. But I dont want any debates here :P.. Ill post some pictures as soon as we get them :).
-
Well I didn\'t really dress up as such, more like I just put a hat on...

Why make/buy a costume when you can grow it :D
Did not do much though just helped hand out candy with my brother though he was doing most of it as I could not see much. Had several kids asking me if I was real and one who when he found out I was real wanted me to \"take it off\" :P
