Now, I haven\'t come across any threads that have to do with THIS topic. If there are, throw me the link please.
Anyways, group looting is cool and all, but shared exp would be nice as well. Even though some people don\'t KILL the monster, they still HELPED, so they should get at least a percent of exp.
As you know, experience is gained through killing, but really, experience is gained through the battle itself (it should be I mean) because that way groups would get experience depending on how many times a person in the group attacks or what not.
(My \"why\" is in there as well :P)

I remember that the number of EXP was determined something about how many hits each individual group member brought in.

I think that\'s how it was outside of group (before restrictions came in). But in group it was all split even. I didn\'t group for a while now, so not sure.

Last time I was grouped I didn\'t get EXP unless I was the one who killed it. Perhaps I\'m wrong though.

I know for a fact that this was a major issue Vengeance took a look at as soon as he heard about it, before this last update :) When was the last time you grouped? Do keep in mind that currently, all the info windows showing your progression points, experience, and health/mana/stamina, have a tendency to not update themselves. Group experience should definitely be enabled, however.

Well, it\'s hard to check it now... Monsters are still impervious and there aren\'t many players online, 60 the most.

Experience is shared within a group depending on each characters contribuytion to fighting the target (something along the lines of damage dealt or amount of hits in ratio to other members)
Loot form that mob is shared out by luck of the roll, trying to loot a nice item for yourself sends a notice to the player who -would- have won it in a roll asking them if they will let you have it.
loot is only distributed to those withing a 30 meter radius, as with Experience.
it all works -perfectly-... give that the monsters are not impervious :)

i didnt say the aren\'t impervious now, i said that group exp works great -if- they monsters arn#t impervious >.>

/me has finaly booted his client and entered PS, fights the first monster coming on his path... \"Hmmm, Ulber is still impervious...\"
