Title: I can't even get updates

I hear all of you guys talking about the new DR.  Did you need to update to get it.  If so i\'ve tried updating a thousand times but it says ran out of mirrors.  Plus i can\'t even play the game
 Can someone please help me

Since there was an update released, there\'s the chance that you indeed run out of mirrors (had bad luck) I suggest you retry again, and this time, go to the Planeshift folder and rename the updater utility (updater.exe) to another name you want and then launch it. This is done because there\'s some problem in this version with the updater trying to update itself.
Ensure also that you don\'t have any issues with your software firewall (if you\'ve any)

thanks it seems to be working, but i had to restart to psupdater 1.0.2.6.  I just renamed it and it started over like you said thanks.  I\'ll tell you later if I get the game working.

Ok whenever I updated to 1.0.28 it reopened the updater started opening the mirrors and then closed what should i do now?

Try making a ping to laanx.fragnetics.com
if it fails make a traceroute to the same adress (tracert laanx.fragnetics.com) post your results. Most commonly you\'ve a firewall, either software or firewall that blocks the traffic, I don\'t think that everytime you try all mirrors are down.
It can also be that some node between the route drops packets with tracert we\'ll try to discard that.
