1st of all, pssetup wont run, so now i cant make the screen any bigger than 640*480 or something like that, 2nd, I CANT READ ANYTHING, the writing is like doubled and its so blurry (no i dont need glasses), 3rd, its WAAAAY to dark, i can barely see the statue, is it just night there? and how long do i have to wait until is light, please help

hello for 1: open Planeshift.cfg in planshift folder, change settings there.
 2: sorry not shore. look in tech help thread there about it.
 3: try this, start game when in game and you can move quit: then in terminal type: CD space followed by dropping planeshift folder in terminal window push return. then type:  
 ./psclient.app/Contents/MacOS/psclient -relight push return.
 This starts game when in game, quit close terminal, and restart game should have relight map of area you are in. (this may take some time depends on size of map to load)
 This if needed will work for each area you find dark, temp work around till pssetup works.  
 Or if you still have .dmg 0.3.11 drag over and replace pssetup and pssetup .cfg they still work, with new set up.

This happens on my computer too, according to some GM in the game, this is because of the type of video-card on your Mac.

rage 128 pro ultra 16 meg
512 RAM
mac os x 10.3.9

i\'ll get back to you on the screenshot, to get the letterings just right, i have to like, get muted and take a snapshot real quick

dont mind the colors, all you need to see are the letters, colors work fine

To be honest, I\'m absolutely shocked that you even get that far :)  I guess having a good amount of RAM helps, but your CPU and graphics card are even slower than mine.  I guess since you\'re below our \"target\" graphics card capability, I can\'t really do much to help you.. hopefully things are still playable.

well, once you release the final version, i hope that (I PRAY THAT, AND PLEASE PLEAS EPLEASE :D:D:D:D:D:D)  make the graphics a little bit lower to help the less fortunate of us (me) to play, because i love planeshift, what i can get out of it is awesome, i just need it to be a little less demanding, please help me a little. i beg of you guys, i really wanna play PS :(

by the way, i just wanted to let you guys know that i will always hang around the forums and try to help people, though i may not be able to play, i will still be a loyal community member to planeshift, i guess i will just have to pray that i get a new computer soon.

I try to read:

You are not allowed to shout or ???? until you have been in-game for at least 1 hour.

In brief: This function forces you to get experienced (to learn the handling, the movement, the interface) before you are allowed to use functions which may reach lots of players at once.

that was when i reinstalled the game to show you guys how the lettering was, i was able to shout before i deleted and reinstalled, just fyi :D


and it says shout or auction
