Title: Firestar Hunett

Hi, I am Masoj Hunett, and I have just recently adopted a baby groffel, which I named Firestar Hunett.

I was walking back from a trip to ojaveda.  I was making my way through the woods near the hydlaa gates and noticed bushes shaking on the side of the trail.  I looked in and found a baby goffel.  I looked around for its parents and found carkasses of 2 other larger ones, which I relised were its parents.  Not able to walk, and barely alive, I gave it 2 healing potions.  Luckily I just purchased a ring from a good friend (not giving anything away here) that let me commune with creatures and take one in as my familiar, which I instantly used.  It managed to survive, and I took it to my room in the Kada-El tavern, where I nurtured it with food from the cook. I soon realized it loved meat, carrots, and fish.  However, it didn\'t like bread, nor did it like the taste or the after effects of liquor.

I decided to name it Firestar Hunett, after its red color and since it was now family, my last name.  I brought Firestar outside.  He was very excited to explore the new world, but since it is still too young and weak to walk, I had to carry him.   I brought him to Harquist\'s place, where people crowded around.  He met many people.  He decided he very much like zorbel because she had a soothing voice, was kind, had a goffel of her own,  and most of all, loved to play with her tail.  He also liked the company of harquist, a tall figure head who was willing to always look after Firestar and promised never to leave his post until I returned back, which proved useful when I went searching for copper ore Xael hid in hydlaa.  However, he did meet 1 or 2 people he didn\'t like, one being Zog.  He was very loud for Firestar\'s sensitive ears, and was quite rude and annoying thought Firestar.  He also has a fondness for Klyros\'s  because besides goffels, they are the only other species he has seen with wings.  He even wanted a Klyros named Elarion to teach him to fly, but he had much to do and Firestar\'s wings were much too weak.

So here we are today, his leg muscles developing quickly.  Soon he will be able to walk on his own.  He mostly likes Hydlaa city, and his favorite spot is under the shade of the tree in front of Harnquist, looking out upon the plaza and listening to conversations and stories of passerbys and the groupies around the shack, with Harquist always looking out for him.


EDIT: Firestar can now walk, run, and play around a lot
EDIT: Firestar can also fly if he really wishes, however it takes a tremendous amount of energy for him to do so, so he doesn\'t do it too often.  He did show everyone how he can fly though (and many took pics, who I thank very much)

EDIT: Firestar can now talk. His first words were \"iii Masoj!\"
he also says:
\"howa Masoj!\"
\"ii gro gro\"
\"mee liik Masoj!\"
isn\'t he cute?

(and yes that is how it is spelled)

Firestar Hunett is welcome to play with Nibbles anyday and I quite enjoy Firestar myself. He is very well behaved and sensitive I noticed. Take care of him Lord Masoj and if harnguist is busy with his store I will babysit!! :)

Oh silly me I didn\'t say anything about the story. Got caught up in the cute groffels. I did enjoy the story, and was sad to hear about Firestar Hunett\'s parents, but I am glad someone as kind as yourself came along to take him in and take care of him. ;)

Firestar. (hint hint at the flying tale :D )
