Title: Can't Summon Pet

When I try to summon a pet it says \"Could not find Familiar GEM and set its location\"  pls help.

(and yes the ring is on)

I too have a broken pet, with the same error message.

If I try to change the pet\'s name, system responds with:  \"There is a problem with your pet.  Please contact PlaneShift team.\"

Contacting the team is not defined, so I post here as well.

I added this patch in when I was at work because it was causing the server to crash. So giving this warning is a bit better message :)

I tried to fix shorty13\'s pet first to see if it works.  If it is ok I will try to do the same for everybody else.

His is working.  I Just spoke to him, and saw it.

There are several others with the problem also.

Ok, if you have a broken pet then I need:

Your character name and your pet\'s name(if any, I think the default is \"character\'s Familiar\" )

I have a slitly diffrent problem but thought best not to create a seperate thread,
I have just recently finished the quest to obtain a familiar after many hours of mining I instantly put on the ring to see my little critter that i worked so hard for and all was grand untill i decided to click on his discription and all hell broke loose,
The game crashed and i thought never mind dont do that again so i reconected and my pet was no where to be seen so i asumed the server had dismissed him in my absence but when i try to resummon it says \"you allready have a pet, please take care of it.\"
I have tryed the various commands such as dimiss i have also tryed loading diffrent area\'s and even went as far as commiting suicide on the hopes that i might be able to resummon him on my escape from dr but i have had no luck.
I understand you are all very busy but i would greatly appreciate some help i have been working on this quest since the update and wish to have my little critter back.

Character - Vanderbal Ulskarfa.
Familiar     - Defult had no time to change it.

I am having the same problem with my pet.
Char name : Yathann Colidrin
default pet name.

Have we all done a \"oh, no, don\'t do this\" action ?

I am having a very similar problem. I just bought the ring from someone and when I put it on it said that I already had a pet and that I should take care of it. So I tried summoning it and it said that I didn\'t have a familiar to comand. I thought that maybe I needed to name it first and that just seemed to confuse the game even more... I paid many Trias for it.

My character\'s name is Hodares Welas and his pet has not yet been named (but I was going to name it Felox)

not sure if it is a new problem or just an old one that has resurfaced.

Hi same error after .13 update. Alternate character different can get pet Nyramael can\'t :(

Same sorta problem, but its different, see attached image. He's there but I can't summon him, his name is also different, the one that I can see is still called Zopah's Familiar but I renamed it to Zopahi ages ago. I can't dismiss him because it says he's already been sent away, and I can't summon him because it says I'm too weak, and I only summoned him once? Can someone fix it please?

I've got the same problem.
The pet is not named yet and /pet name says "You have no familar to command.".
Getting Message"Could not find GEM and set its location." when applying the ring.
Ingame name Munital Senielk.

Hi

i recently completed the Ring of familiar quest and a similar message to the ones posted above; 'could not find GEM and set its location'
when i try '/pet summon' it says i dont have a familiar

My character name is 'Yahya'

i havent set my familiars name yet
