update in recover-mode (works for me). If not fixing it, rename your updater.exe to oldupdater.exe and update in recover-mode again...

You might have to try updating from another mirror becuase i think a few mirrors had corrupted files (I think it is the Solone mirror not sure)...I used mirror 4 to update first and i had same problem but then i updated from mirror five then it worked...

Edit your updaterconfig.xml file in your main PlaneShift directory (on Windows, usually C:\\Program Files\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue) and change the number for the active mirror from 1 to any of the others :)

Could someone please explain to me how to change a mirror? I tried changing the \'1\' to a 3 and now my updater crashes before it can download the registry

Make sure that a part of your updaterconfig.xml looks like this:

Quote

So that you actually have a mirror 3 listed - for some reason I know of one person that didn\'t. If the updater crashes, try changing the mirror yet again, perhaps back to something that worked.
