Title: how do I install?

I recently switched from Windows to Linux for stability and security and I want to set up Planeshift Crystal Blue, I downloaded the linux package but now I dont know what I need to do.....can anyone help me?

Do not use the Linux package found on the main download page. And I suggest you really read these threads before asking any more questions  :)

Bereror has given some good advice, there is certainly a lot of information contained within the forums, it would be good to search through them, but if you get stuck find me in game through the windows client or message me in the Protectors guild forum http://www.the-protectors.tk and i will do my best to help you, also try to install skype as well, it may ease our path
