Title: Server Issues

Ok, yesterday I downloaded the mac client, ran the old .jar updater, and then ran the updater itself. At all steps of that process though, I kept getting the same problem. Whenever I try to connect, I keep getting told that the server is unreachable, or down, or whatever that message says. Now I don\'t think there is anything like a firewall holding me back, and the server is listed as being up on it\'s website, so I am kinda out of ideas.

can anyone help?

Ok, I had already read the \"Important: READ BEFORE POSTING: A Guide to Running Planeshift on Mac OS X ( 1 2 3 )\"?thread, and now I posted my specs, but that seems like a dead end.

Did you look at the second \"IMPORTANT\" note in the Guide as instructed in step 3 of the Java update guide? If you used the manual update guide, the \"IMPORTANT\" section is right below it.

Well, it seems taht after posting my specs something magical occured, and I am now able to log in. thanks for your help though!

now I just have to figure out how to get started. My Char. is Brodir Grimmson, a Hammerwielder, (albeit with a Stonebreaker skin).
