Title: My Old PS Account w/ Ring of the Past..
Post by: Schlaxo on November 20, 2005, 02:52:15 pm: Well, as far as I know all accounts have been deleted some time ago because there were bugs, and I didn\'t mind since I was about to quit playing Planeshift. Now I don\'t know what to do to get my old stuff back, since I can\'t register on my old E-Mail address \'cause I forgot the PW of it. I only know my old chars name and probably the email x(

Is there ANYTHING you/I can do about it? Or were the RoP\'s deleted anyway? :\'(

@burntleaf: Characters existing before CB was released had some privileges that survived the wipe. They for instance had that special item called \"The ring of the past\".

EDIT: Nilrem, that\'s the problem, I\'d need someone to change the Email of my old account, because I have lost the one my old one was registered to =(

I really need help... :(

When it tells you this, are you trying to re-register?

You should just have to log in with it (providing you remember the password that you used to use), as the characters were wiped, but not the accounts.

Then once you\'re in, you just create the character with the name you reserved.

I could be wrong, though.

i think that means you needs to get a GM to unban the name...

As for your question, using the character name will only award you with Tria + Ring if the character name AND account match. As you plan to be using a new account, I\'m afraid this would not be the case.

But the name + email should match, I\'m 99,9% SURE that I had my old account registered to that email address. =|

If so, somebody should take a look there.
