Title: Is this a computer error?

I\'m so sorry my first thread had to be one of complaint. :( I downloaded \"Planeshift\" about three days ago. I\'ve registered an account, and made sure that my system can handle the game. However, when I open the game, a problem occurs. Under \"Servers\" it lists only Fragnetics: Fail100. Not knowing what that meant, I typed in my username and password. I am consistently presented with the same error message: \"Server is not currently working. Please contact staff.\" If there a problem with the file or my system? I use Mac OS X on an iBook. I have X 10.3.4 something.

You could check the MacOSX forum a bit below to see if any of the previously made threads could help you out :) Beforehand though, if you run a firewall or router, make sure that you have UDP port 7777 enabled for server \"Laanx.\" Perhaps the problem is just that.

I updated the launch file for my computer, and checked the OSX thread. Now when I launch the file, the screen just comes up black, and at the top it says \"WARNING: Planeshift worksbest in 24 or 32 bit color mode\".

hey, the first problem seemed an awful lot like the server was down, so i think you mite not have needed to update, but try going on ps setup (in planeshift folder) and changing it to 24 or 32bit colour.

Won\'t even run. :/ Every time I click to open it says \"An unexpected error has occured\".
