Title: quiting diagnostic files
Post by: nattuo on November 26, 2005, 09:43:38 pm
I read about how I should save diagnostic files and stuff but i then realised EVERYTIME I quit ps it asks if I want to save a diagnostic file is this natural and are there any solutions?

I just think that the version of planeshift that i downloaded is really bummed up, my updater doesn\'t work(error reports typical of windows to be avap(as vague as possible)) alot of textures don\'t work it crashes every 5 minutes diagnostic files every 10(seperate times) and a frame rate average of 5.
also i forgot to mention my system has error reports when i use the relight option.

The crashes on exit are annoying, but inconsequential.  Just ignore them till they get fixed.  (related to other sound problems)

The nice thing is that those crashes on exit appear even when sound is turned of on pssetup; I think AryHann once told that the engine still tries to load sound, even when it\'s turned off, and keeps sending warning messages...
And another funny thing is, that if the server stops responding (aka has crashed) when you click ok, and then exit the game, no crash happens.
That means that crashing the server is the most clean way of quitting the client; simply amazing. :D
