Title: Suggestions for Character Problem Continued

So I checked my log after a successful character creation and what is different from when it wouldn\'t work? Well, the sound manager error which you STILL get if you turn off the sound. So how did I fix it? I read a post that said to try using the \"stone\" skin. After that I was able to create a character. Not saying that this necessarily the cure all, but it could be possible.

No. The server was restarted, and that fixed the character creation, atleast for now. Once again, there is nothing wrong with your client :) But the stone skin is nice.
