Title: ojaveda road song
Post by: zanzibar on December 05, 2005, 10:31:53 pm
The music for ojaveda road is called \"Daytime Travel\".  Does this mean that the music for maps will change depending on the time of day?

btw

Yes, background music is determined by time of day.  Thank GeorgeD for that.  Time/Weather will eventually affect many of the sounds.  Basically there are 3 types of sounds:

Background music
Ambient
Emitters

Background explains itself.  Ambient are things like bugs cherping, watter dripping, etc.  Sounds that are \'general\'.  Emitters are things like torches that emit a 3d sound.  Eventually all 3 will be defined by the time of day and current weather.

Shweet.  I remember you saying that the music deperatment on the team is way overworked right now.  Having to double the amount of music in the game should fix that! :-D
