Title: -fullbright Windows XP
Post by: PenguinCoffee on December 06, 2005, 01:21:15 pm
Everything from my screen is considerably dark - and the world you go when you die, I cannot even see my model most of the time.

A nice guy named Rilar tried to help me with it - but he had Windows 2000, and the way he fixed it, was not there for me.

I tried some command line with a .jar file - but it gave me an error, and soon after I saw that it was for Mac users.

I would be grateful if anyone explained how to set -fullbright for Windows XP to me - thanks.

Click on Start -> All Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue.

Then right-click on PlaneShift - Tech Demo and select Properties from the menu.

Add -fullbright to the end of the Target field as shown on the following screenshot:

Click on the OK button and you should be done. Be warned that with this option the game looks terrible ;)

Thanks a lot man, the graphics aren\'t a necessity for me, heh.

Maybe I can get into the game now, thanks. :)

Don\'t forget there should be a space between .exe\" and -fullbright; it\'s a bit hard to tell for those that don\'t know that.

You have to close and re-open it again to work right

Yes of course you have to close it first, then modify the shortcut and start again.
