How will the groups of rangers and rouges be balanced? obviously they wont be as strong in face to face combat but they might be able to \"hit and run\" everybody to death. This will be a big problem in forest hilly areas dungens ect. can someone PLEASE tell me how PS is planing to balace this..?

I think you answered your own question. Rogues can\'t dish out the damage a tank can, nor can they take the same amount of damage. They also won\'t have any real spell capability(unless they train that up on the side.) The balance comes from rogues and rangers speed, and skills. Rogues can hide in shadows and strike back stabs to people(hopefully waylay as well.) Rangers will be able to hit things from a distance, probably as well as tracking. The main point to PS, is that there aren\'t really any \"classes.\" Everyone customizes their own for all intensive purposes. Each possible configuration has different tactics to it. Each combination should balance in the end, it just comes down to who knows the better tactics.

A true warrior always chooses his preffered battlefield. :O

Actually, the devs say theyre wont be pvp( :( ) except in arenas or dedicated areas, aside from duals, so chances are, you wouldnt have to worry bout it.
-
Actually the truth of the matter is there is no class system. You train in the skills you want and are not stuck to a set out class order.
But to the point... it is the rogue that is the damage dealer as well as the ranger. they ballance themselves out by wearing light armor with low AC. So yes they do a lot of damage but if hit they go squish. It is the tank, aka warrior or other plate class that has the high AC and HP to take all the damage being done. IE that is why it is called a tanking class cause of the armorment. They don\'t deal damage as well as the others but they can sure take a hit. Rogues and rangers deal it while the warriors and other plate classes take it. That is their normal ballance....
But like I said earlier, in PS there is no class system only a skill system. So if you want to be a large and in charge plate wearing magic wielding back stabbing SOB you can be.

*Wonders how long it would take to level up a \'large and in charge plate wearing magic wielding back stabbing SOB\'* =P

no pvp besides in designated areas?
aww thats sort of a disapointment for me =/
its like you jump out of the bushes

If they put in pvp alot of people would complain, as people in all games do when they get pvp, alot of people don\'t like it because people go around randomly killing people. There are plenty of other games if you want pvp.
Translation for the RETARDS!
well then all teh ppl that r low lvl will cry becuz they get killed if there is pvp, and not evry1 wants 2 take up a skill n the combat arts.
