Title: Sentinels of the Ragnarok/Community of Vaalnor - 1 year in the making!
Post by: Induane on December 06, 2005, 07:31:35 pm: A year ago, The Sentinels of the Ragnarok began as a new guild to the Molecular Blue world. After the wipe occurred the ingame name was changed to the Community of Vaalnor to reflect our recent ideas on redefining what our guild was. The ingame guild name has continued to be CoV ever since.

I would like to personally thank everyone who has made this wonderful magical journey possible. Without the PS dev team, this would never have materialized the way it did!

Ahh memories, I remember our first days here - flame wars with seperot mostly :) Our threads became so out of hand that they were nearly useless as guild advertisements. I remember the days when CB came out - the anticipation, the mining fun I had with Riffstorm, attacking rats and clackers.. it was awsome! Later on mock guild training wars kept things interesting. Easton from Swords of Gent was awsome in helping us by playing rival guild.

Through the good and the bad I can definately say I\'m proud to be a member of SoR/CoV, and am thankful for the many fantistic friends I\'ve made along the way. Lets hope the next several years just keep getting better!

I was just reading back through our earliest posts here... bah we were all noobs :D. But over this last year we have made and lost many great friends. Thats the only bad thing is how many people that you get close to end up dissapearing along with guilds :(. But all and all it was a great first year! :P Plenty of great friends still with us... and one thing that happens is after being here for awhile it becomes less about making your guild the best and more about helping PS. It has been a community effort up to now and through a communtiy effort this project will reach its potential. Well ill stop for now :)..

/me leaves with just one more thank you to the PS community as a whole

anyways gratz for lasting a whole year and good luck with year 2 (no realy very few guilds last in year 2)

SoR was my first guild and they have helped me beyond what i needed. I am very happy that Induane and Val (dont forget about lishom either) have been here a year and i hope that they continue to help people for years to come.

The community has taught me mny skills, in game and out of the game, from technical help, to figuring out how to use shortcuts.

This community will no doubt, be around for as long as Planeshift is, as will I. I too, must thank the PS community for allowing this to happen, from future recruites, to developers. I say from a lot...

Anyways, I\'m glad to be apart of this community, if this place wasn\'t around, I wouldn\'t have made such great friends!

THANKS TO EVERYONE! As long as I\'m around, this community will never leave! *cracks his whip* Ohhh yeahhh.

I joined CoV about eight months ago and dont plan to leave till they shut down the servers. Good job Induane and Val.

I started school back up this semester and I seem to be out of time for the last 2 months or so :(. Either way we are not going far :).

Edit: bah then when I can get in the server is down :P.. go figure.
