Dear Dezzhie...whatever

1. Relax, it\'s a free game, it\'s not like you payed for it.

2. Judging by your post, you are probably too immature to truly appreciate the Planeshift realm and it dynamics.

3. Go tell mommie and daddy that you want an Xbox for christmas since computers do not seem to be your forte.
(look it up in the dictionary)

as karyuu said this is not a problem with the server. click here  (http://laanx.fragnetics.com) to check the server status.

the problem at this point lies with your connection to the server. with perhaps a bit more information about your setup would provide us with a bit of direction here on this.

oh. and don\'t use all caps in a post. it really doesn\'t improve the chances of getting your problem solved. and may even hurt the chances of getting a simple direct responce.

Hun, I\'m only 13 and I\'m perfectly capable of speaking without YELLING WITH CAPS LIKE IDIOTS.

All he asked was if you had a router, and if your ports were open. That doesn\'t require a huge amount of PC knowledge, and if you would take a few minutes to google or visit portfoward.com, you might not have made this flaming post.

Sayonara.

Many people of your age group cope very well with the challenges of playing games and/or speaking coherently.

I\'m not sure that you should abandon computers altogether, but MMOGs that aren\'t still under heavy development might hold more fun for you. PlaneShift is by no means foolproof, and in some places it is hard to understand and can be very fiddly to get working.

Also, there\'s a difference between the post reply and the new thread buttons.

Just sayin\'.

Hello folks,

Part of the fun of PS for me is that it is in development. At this point, PS is not just a game, but a massive project that everyone can contribute to in some capacity. It is a privilage to be involved, even in the small way that I am.

To me the bugs are puzzles. Sometimes (if you can believe it) I enjoy troubleshooting more than playing the game (thanks especially to Mac moderator ChaOs). But perhaps thats just me being a scientist. ;)

This is ridiculous. You\'ve been given a few pieces of helpful advice, and the rest is honestly up to you. In your previous thread (http://planeshift.oodlz.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=20957&boardid=17&styleid=4) I posted as much as I could have to help you out based on the information you first gave, which wasn\'t much. If you don\'t know whether you have a firewall or router, I suggest you ask someone who has the control of your computer/network settings, perhaps a parental unit. Once you find this out, either find some manuals describing how to set up port forwarding, or ask the same parental unit to help. This is nothing that we can do for you, but must be done on your end. Terribly sorry for any inconvenience.

You are now free to post in your original thread.
